Punda Maria sits in the far north of the park, an area famously described as the "Botanical Garden" of Kruger due to its staggering diversity of plant life. While the dense vegetation makes spotting big cats very difficult, peace, quiet, and stunning scenery are guaranteed. It is unconditionally the premier birding destination in the park.
