Sirheni Bushveld Camp nestles on the edge of the northern plains within the Mopane woodland, looking out over the Sirheni Dam. Sirheni translates as "cemetery," referencing an elephant graveyard previously found in the area. Today it’s far from dead—various wildlife and impressive bird species flock to the dam, and leopards are regular visitors to the camp perimeter.
